Ich dachte mir, für den Maßstab fangen wir besser einen neuen thread an.
Jeder wie er mag, aber grundsätzlich ist die Idee aus Polystyrol bzw. anderen fräs- oder cutbaren Materialien das einfache Führerhaus selbst zu schnitzen nicht abzulehnen, die Vorbauten mit den Lüfterlamellen und Scheinwerfern sowie die DG Blenden könnte man drucken, den Rahmen aus Messing löten. Das Dach ist auch aus Messingblech schnell geschnitten und gebogen. Einzig, welche LGB Fahrgestelle hätten den halbwegs passenden Achsabstand und Radgröße?

LGB standard diesel / electric locomotive wheels are too large.
Nearest sized wheels for E3 / E4 are LGB coach wheels but are non driving.
Axle centres on LGB locomotives are too short so best idea would be to scratch build the bogies and then sort out a drive system.

Earlier I have written that a Bachmann wheel set may be the solution. As I have thought there might arrise an issue . About 10 years ago two engineers in Austria built 760 mm gage models enlarged to 1.ooo mm . So this problem can be overcome making their own driving axles.

Ah, the web address is a signature that underlines all my posts.
It was an Austrian LGB site (Dybbstalbahn) that I created but freewebs wiped it after I had a few months in hospital and I lost the whole lot.
Just started a new one now and altered my signature.
